The Shadetree Company was established in 1999 while owner and operator Tim Stabile was still in school at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. The business which consisted of tree care and landscape maintenance helped support Tim through college as well as build valuable experience as a small business owner. Tim received an associate degree in arboriculture from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and a bachelor degree in urban forestry from the university. After graduation and much searching, Tim, his wife Caroline, and The Shadetree Company settled into a perfect home in Wakefield, Rhode Island.
